We almost always receive kind thank you notes from the bride and groom following their wedding. More frequently, though, we are also receiving heartfelt notes from the newlyweds' parents. This is just such a note, sent to us by the appreciative mother of one of our lovely brides:
I've been meaning to write and thank you for the beautful bouquets you produced for A.'s wedding. They were the bold and glorious colors she had envisioned. Even before the wedding, when I mentiond WISTERIA, several people who work with flowers affirmed the choice. And now I can add my praises!

Tina & Bern - September 12, 2009
Here at Wisteria, the color orange reigns supreme. So when Tina came to us with her decidedly different color palette of orange, green, and white for her September wedding to Bern at the Nicollet Island Pavilion, it was on! The color scheme, however, was just the beginning! Everything about Tina and Bern's wedding was unique. Tina’s bouquet was a dreamy vision of Picasso mini-callas, orange dahlias, Voodoo roses, green hydrangea, and a touch of stephanotis. Refreshing, no? Her girls carried small clutches of Treasure mini-callas and Babe spray roses that stood out beautifully against their mossy-green frocks. For the reception, we created monochromatic, mono-flower balls in varying sizes that nestled in the branches of iron 'trees' for half of the guest tables. On the other half, a ball of orange Gerbera daisies and curly willow rested atop a tall trumpet vase. This was one VERY labor intensive wedding, but the finished product was more than worth the late nights :) Congratulations, Tina & Bern!

Happy Anniversary, Wisteria!
This November, Wisteria celebrates its 23rd year of floral excellence in the Twin Cities. Owner and Artistic Director Russell Toscano cut his proverbial teeth in the Big Apple before bringing his concept of upscale floral design to Minneapolis. Once here, he carved a name for his fledgling studio with his unique style and ability to go above and beyond his clients' expectations. From lavish, winter-wonderland weddings for hundreds of guests to intimate gatherings among a few close friends and everything in between, Russell has created it all. Many floral studios have come and gone during its time, but today, Wisteria stands as a testament to Russell's original vision of impeccable floral design.
